Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Provenio, an AI research connector operated by Mildo Inc. (밀도 주식회사). By using provenio.art, the MCP service, or the BYOK integration, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service description
Provenio federates art-market and provenance data — Getty Provenance Index, Knoedler stock books, ERR / MNR restitution archives, gallery representations, and auction records — and exposes them through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. Every response is a retrieval with citations, not a generation.
2. Not legal or insurance advice
Provenio surfaces evidence; it does not render verdicts. Provenance gap detection, restitution flags, and risk scores are research signals — not legal advice, not insurance underwriting, not authentication. Any consequential decision (consignment acceptance, policy issuance, repatriation negotiation) requires independent professional counsel and your own due diligence.
3. Subscription tiers
- Beta — free through 31 Aug 2026. Single seat, unlimited queries during beta, 30 days' written notice before any conversion to paid.
- Pro — annual contract, see pricing on /mcp. Founding members receive 50% off first year if joined during beta.
- Institutional — bespoke annual contract, separate DPA, on-premise option.
4. Acceptable use
- You will not attempt to reverse-engineer the federation pipeline, scrape the API at scale, or circumvent rate limits.
- BYOK external queries are governed by the SSRF allowlist. Attempts to target internal IPs, loopback, link-local, RFC1918 (incl. 172.16/12), or IPv6 ULA addresses are blocked and logged.
- You will not use Provenio to facilitate trade in stolen, looted, or sanctioned cultural property.
5. Citation discipline
When publishing or citing Provenio output, you must preserve the source attributions in the response envelope (Getty PI lot IDs, Knoedler entry numbers, ERR catalogue references). Where Provenio names a gap, you must not represent the gap as a verified absence.
6. Liability
Mildo Inc.'s liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid in the prior 12 months. Mildo Inc. is not liable for indirect, consequential, or reputational damages, including those arising from research signals surfaced or omitted by Provenio.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes shall be submitted to the Seoul Central District Court, save that Institutional-tier clients may elect KCAB arbitration under a separate contract addendum.
8. Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be notified 30 days in advance by email and in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
